  • Worst company I have ever done business with. After 20 or so years dealing with the Cox monopoly in my apartment building, I finally moved to one that offered CenturyLink as well. Pricing is predatory- when asking for internet service ONLY at my new place, quoted monthly rate was $89.95 for the SLOWEST level of service they offer (plus a $75 install fee which involves them hitting a button at their home office- no tech visit). I get CenturyLink for $44.95 and same speed. Google "Cox sucks" and see thousands upon thousands of complaints- NONE of which they even bother responding too. Problem is, they pay the Omaha city council an annual bribe to maintain their monopoly in a good chunk of Omaha. Customer service is horrifying- after waiting on hold for 20 or 30 minutes, they refuse to do anything until you tell them to cancel your service, then try to talk you into staying? I would rather buy my internet service from Satan himself!
