I have heard good things about this place so I was excited to try it out. I love biscuits and this place serves an amazing one. First off it is huge. My husband loves the crunchy outside and I am a big fan of the gooey middle and this one does both. They had a cranberry apple butter sauce in a squeeze bottle on the table that was pretty good with the biscuit. Just a note, this biscuit is on the sweet side if you like more savory biscuits probably will not be for you.
I ordered the EGG-STRAORDINARY BREAKFAST - two eggs, creamy dreamy grits and oven-roasted "moon dusted" potatoes. Got my eggs over-hard so nothing special. I have never been a big fan of grits, but these were to die for. No idea if they are good or not, but for me the first time I could eat a whole bowl of grits. No clue what made them so yummy to me, but I was blown away. Now the "moon dusted" potatoes on the other hand were also nothing special. I am guessing the "moon dust" is extra salt because they were super salty and I should have requested no dust for me. Live and Learn.
My dining partner got the OVEN FRIED GREEN TOMATO BLT and it looked pretty good also, big portions, colorful. The whole wheat bun looked amazing.
I would highly recommend this place to people. I have heard it gets insane on the weekend, so we went early lunch time on a Friday. We got a table right away and our food came out quickly.
