| - We enjoy the Venetian Hotel Las Vegas the property is very clean and the architecture is amazing.
This hotel has several dining options, but we like Grand Lux above the other options because it is both delicious and consistent in service and food.
Gambling at the Venetian is pricey. Most of the craps tables have a minimum pass line bet of $25, which is great if you win, but painful if the dice are not rolling the way you hoped.
The Venetian poker room is amazing. It is HUGE and boasts lots of different tournaments throughout the day, as well as cash poker games with blinds that are $5-$3 on the low side. Again, great if you are a strong player [which I am], but can be costly, quickly if you are a beginner.
The gaming floor is huge and filled with plenty of slot machines and table games [Black Jack, Roulette, 3 card poker, etc] but, again, the minimum wagers are never below $15 and usually $25 and higher. The odds on the table games usually favor 'the house' so that being said, I stick to games that I know I can win, like live tournament and cash poker in the poker room.
The rooms are nice and well-appointed, but given a choice, I prefer their 'sister' hotel The Plazzo much more.
Nice place. A 'must see' for the genius architecture Venetian has created.
