  • I decided this summer to follow through on an interest I've always held but never pursued - learning to dive. I found Dive World through a bit of comparison shopping on google and just went for it, registering my girlfriend and myself for the Open Water Diver course. After a couple of weekends spread out over two months, we went from zero scuba experience to PADI certified divers. Dive World is an all-in-one spot that provides all the instruction and equipment you need. Super friendly staff at the shop can answer any questions, get you set up with equipment, and register you for the courses. The instructors really made it terrific; they're experienced and confident, and they know how to motivate learning, how to reassure anxious rookies, and how to make sure everyone has a good time (shout-out to Mario and Meghan). I'm planning on staying connected to local activities through Dive World. Highly recommended!
