| - The place was huge. I went by myself as part of my checklist of things to do in Vegas besides going to pool parties and nightclubs. That being, fire a fully-automatic weapon (can't do that in California).
I spent around 100 bucks to shoot two clips worth for the M-4 shotgun and M (something) short burst machine gun. First time I've ever shot a gun from either category. One thing I learned was I love shotguns. The short burst wasn't too hard to aim either. When I was looking through the scope with the crosshairs and red dot in the center, I thought to myself, "It's like Call of Duty...except I can smell the gunpowder and feel the weight of the gun."
That said. I don't give it a 5 stars because I realized I just spent more than $100 for basically 5 to 10 minutes of fun. *insert sex joke here* Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway, I don't know if this is a good deal or not. In California, I fired pistols and revolves and with the rental and 50 rounds, I'll spend maybe $40. $10 for subsequent boxes of ammo.
They have a large selection of weapons, good teachers, and knowledgeable staff, so I can't really hate. I mean, if you go to Vegas, you should have a lot of money. That shouldn't change even if you're not in the strip. So if you have money, you're not military or former military with a hook-up in exercising your right to bear arms, then this place is a cool spot to check out and try out some guns. Buying? I'm not so sure, but a good "appetizer" course for trying out firearms like I did.
