Overall a decent gym.
The good:
-Fairly spacious. Equipment is generally in good condition.
-Staff are generally friendly and helpful, but I haven't tried their personal training or taken any classes here so I can't comment on those.
-There is a decent sized pool, rare for GoodLifes to have a pool. It can get pretty full at times though. There's also a hot tub.
-Plenty of cardio equipment. There's another cardio "dark room" with a bunch of machines and a movie playing in the room. I personally wouldn't want to run in the dark, but it's good to have a second option if the main cardio area is full.
-There's a basketball court which also doubles as the space used for their lessons.
-Hours are pretty good although It would be perfect if they were opened just a bit later on weekends.
The meh:
-Change rooms can get messy at times. I've often gone and there are just towels littered all over the place. I don't see why the members can't be bothered to toss the towels in the bin outside.
-It gets pretty packed from about 5-8PM. Good luck if you're looking for a bench or something in the free weights area. The strength training area tends to get the busiest.
-There are some people who go to the gym and then just hang around and socialize, sometimes sitting down at a machine and never using it.
Other notes:
-Member demographic here is pretty diverse -- all sorts of ages and ethnicity. So you won't really feel out of place.
-Most of the time people are pretty good with wiping down machines after they are done with them (I see this more often with the cardio equipment than the strength equipment).
