You definitely come here for the novelty. Given the high price for ice cream (roughly $10ish for ice cream with toppings, and I also added the bubble waffle option). Although it's more expensive, it is filling, enough for 2 to share. I also felt the portion (6 Thai ice cream rolls compared to 4 rolls that I see on YouTube videos) is reasonable in my opinion.
It is something that is interesting for kids to watch and eat, as I noticed lots of parents ordering this for their kids.
Location is a bit odd, inside a relatively run down plaza rather than a shopping mall where it would generate more traffic. However the advantage would be ample parking and no crowd.
There is generally a wait for the order, roughly 10-15 minutes. It is nice that they display the preparation of your Thai ice cream roll order, and that generates interest of passerbys.
The ice cream tasted good, but bubble waffle was only okay (quite hard for my liking, I'm used to the soft cushiony HK style egg waffles).
Overall I never tried this before and felt it was worthwhile for the experience. I would bring any friends or guests visiting if they hadn't tried it before. I would return to try other flavors on a day I need an ice cream pick-me-up.
