  • I had my floors done by them back in July and just got around to writing my review. We were just looking at flooring but we weren't serious about getting this done. Anyways, I found AZ Flooring Direct on Yelp and gave it a try cause Yelp has never failed me. So we walk into the door and their shop is very little. The salesperson Lisa helped us and she was very casual in cargo shorts and flip flops. The owner Scottie was there too. Very casual. They were very honest with us and showed us their cheapest tile first. They gave us the low down on all the different types of tiles and the downfall on each. Scottie even told us that you better love the tile cause its there forever. Don't like it but love it. We took that to heart and low and behold we found one. It was a little over our budget but Scottie worked with us and we came to an agreement. Hats off to Scottie. AZ flooring has their own installation staff but the staff is part of another company that just does installs. Scottie has control over these people. The cost agreed upon only covers the title and installation. They warned us ahead that any cracks in the foundation that needs grinding is extra and we have to pay the installation company. Low and behold we had major cracks and it cost us $500 just to fix cracks. Ugh. Just remember that the installation people are just that. They're in your home so you need to watch them as anyone in your home. We were warned to cover our kitchen cabinets and did that and they would cover the rest. Well my wife wanted everything covered and they didn't. We had to cover the extra stuff we wanted with the plastic they provided. This was fine as long as the wife is happy. We request that this get done by a certain date and they got it done on time. We are very happy with our new flooring but the installation is a major interruption in your life. With moving everything to not stepping on the tiles at night but they do try their best with this. I would recommend this place. They have the best prices because they can buy in bulk. Give them a try and hopefully you will be as satisfies as we are.
