This restaurant may be the closest that one can come to entering a different world without leaving the city.
We were greeted with the smell of exotic spices as soon as we opened the door. My biggest regret was that we sat at a regular table instead of at one of the lovely Ethiopian seating arrangements.
Our server served us promptly and gave us bottled water. I guess guests would have to specify if they want tap water.
Since this was both my friend's and my first Ethiopian food experience, we were a little surprised to find that our two orders came out on the same serving plate. Our server was nice enough to show us how to rip the spongy dough to wrap it around our meat. It was a little bit spicy, but delicious otherwise. The portion sizes were huge, too. We struggled to finish our meal.
Altogether, I thought this was a great food experience, and I'm looking forward to coming here soon again!
