Their 'Genius' techs will do everything they can do to get around repairing or replacing your device.
I called AppleCare for a loose home button and battery issues, was sent to this store to have my phone replaced as I was told over the phone. Checked in for my Genius appointment on time, waited 30 min to talk to someone only to have them tell me that because my phone had been replaced before, for this same issue, that they had done their 'due diligence'. They even acknowledged that there was a problem with the home button being loose but wrote it off to 'normal wear and tear'.
I'm so disappointed with the service i recieved and the disconnect between the AppleCare rep I spoke with on the phone and the so called 'genius' tech I spoke with in real life, especially because I did buy AppleCare to begin with. What is the point of buying a $400 phone and an extended warranty if they can write off issues that they acknowledge exist as 'normal wear and tear'?
