  • Beware. Unless you don't mind loud boisterous neighbors, students being students (loud and unruly), poorly planned properties, no place to park, and limited green space. The parking situation is a nightmare, they gave us parking permits with rules associated to them, and no one follows the rules! Not even the management, well they don't enforce their own rules. People create their own parking spaces, often times blocking others from getting out easily. The complex itself is very small, so there isn't much to it. What pisses me off the most is seeing so many garages, when they could be valuable parking spaces. The parking situation is so bad they made new spaces on the side of the road, and turned it into a one way street, which is really weird since that is the main way out from the lower end, and even more inconvenient when trying to find a place to park. I moved here from Bexley Steelecroft, which I highly recommend! Steele Creek is a great neighborhood, and is developing. This on the other hand... along with the nightmare that is University City, there will be no peace and quiet in your apartment mainly because of the other residents and the train! The counter tops and appliances are nice, but do not make up for what this place lacks. We were lured in by a $1000 gift card upon moving in, deceptive, but worked. Even the pool is in a weird position, it never gets any sun on it because its shaded by trees, not to mention its only big enough to accommodate three-four families. There are trails behind the apartment buildings that are incomplete and you can not walk down them. The grills are in the same place that dogs go to the bathroom, and so is the only trash receptacle. I can not wait until our lease is up so we can escape! The train shakes our apartment when it goes by, and we aren't even that close to it. Any time someone leaves their apartment, your apartment will shake if they are inconsiderate and let their door slam. They have a lot of cute events for the residents, which is nice. The club house is beautiful, but the work out room is small and cramped. They have a yoga room, or free exercise room, but it is disconnected and you have to enter them separately, weird. The materials they use to build this place are cheap! My plastic bin of clothes simply tapped the wall when I slid by it in my closet, and a piece of the wall came off wtf? weird! Avoid it if you can, and do not be tempted by the gift card! By the way, the images that they show for this place on the google plus page, and even on their website, aren't even for the property on Old Concord Road.... I wish it were though... looks alot better, and the pool is bigger. I expressed my concerns to the leasing office, and they apologized, and one worker even seemed confused why I would feel the way I feel because she loves it, and she said it really depends on which building you live in (cough bs).
