rev:text	What is with those mornings that you wake up craving waffles? And, if you have a dairy allergy, it's worse because everywhere uses milk in their waffles. So you CAN'T HAVE THEM. So, before I'd even rolled out of bed one Sunday morning, I decided we were going to go buy a waffle maker!! I have a gift card for Home Outfitters/The Bay/Zellers (haha) so we decided to hit up there first looking for one - cheaper is better, right? Especially if it's not my own money. But... the store was a disaster! Of the four models on display, only one was actually stocked below, and there were a couple more in stock on the shelf but no display? Not one employee asked if we needed help even though we agonized over which waffle maker to purchase for about 15 minutes. Finally, frustrated, we decided we'd go somewhere else because I didn't want to give my money to somewhere so obviously disinterested in taking it. Until I saw an awesome wine fridge! We looked for a price for five minutes, no luck. I took a picture of the UPC with my phone, went to a price checker station: out of order. Walked around the store trying to find another one, passing several employees in my endeavours. While I looked completely confused and was obviously trying to find something, nobody asked if I needed help (sure, I could have asked them, but at this point in time it just becomes a game to see if anyone will approach me, ever). Found a second price checker station but it wouldn't scan my phone (ok, I won't blame this one on the store). So, we left. Passed three cashiers talking to one another on the way. Not one person asked us if we found what we were looking for or told us to have a nice day. Good riddance!
