As someone who loves eating ice cream in copious amounts, I had to give this place a shot.
I had dinner plans within an hour of eating here and had just eaten about an hour before, so I ordered one of the 'mutant' shakes; the Cloud Nine. The cheesecake and the brownie on top were alright, nothing standout. The ice cream milkshake was also nothing to write home about. There was so much brownie batter at the bottom, you couldn't even drink the shake through the straw. Usually if I have a milkshake I want the reason I can't drink it through a straw to be that the shake is thick.
An initial look at the prices makes it seem pretty, but remember most of these desserts are meant to be shared by more than just one person, unless you're eating it as a meal. Also, there is a $5 return deposit on the mug you get for the shake.
The decor is nice. The menus are easy to read. They have theatre like seats near the back. The tables are occasionally cleaned, but you might have to do it yourself.
I would recommend this place if you're here for the novelty, but I was not too pleased with the Cloud Nine, I think it was too rich of an ice cream. I think I might try the funnel cake shake next time.
