| - TL;DR: I ordered a salad but got a slippery sammich
I had such an adventure ordering here! I was waiting for a flight nearby, so I thought I'd try Marky Mark's for the memes. Note that I never expect airport joints to live up to or be representative of their counterparts in the real world.
I ordered a Jenn's Chicken Sandwich as a salad bowl (because your girl needs some fibre, and it's the same price) to-go, and was pleased that the order came a bit faster than the posted 15-minute wait.
I sat back down at my gate, waited a few minutes, opened the bag and noticed my order was packed without cutlery. I then noticed why, as I was holding a burger-shaped take-out box labelled "Beef BBQ". Concerned that my order had been mixed up with the guy's before mine, I opened the lid to find that it was indeed a chicken sandwich, but a regular non-salad sandwich with a bun and stuff in between.
At this point I was just hungry and waiting for my boarding call, so I didn't bother going back to trade my bread for more lettuce.
A few bites of this sandwich filled me with nostalgia, like I was a child taking a loving bite into a coveted, significantly cheaper, McDonald's burger. This feeling was shortlived because the contents of the burger, which had a disproportionately high garlic mayo:other things ratio, quickly slipped out of the bun.
(Once the burger had de-constructed itself I did kind of wish I had picked up some cutlery).
So in a way, I did kind of get the salad (or lettuce-mayo slaw) experience. The bougie-ness of the individual components of the burger were much more easily appreciated once they'd fallen out.
The chicken was alright though.
