There was some policy disagreement when I returned my sleeping bag with a zipper problem. This is what I wrote to Costco customer service regarding my return experience so I can get clarification on what the actual policy is:
On 31 August 2012, approximately 3:15pm EST at Mayfield Heights Costco in Ohio, AnnMarie told me that my sleeping bag from 3 years ago with a broken zipper does not qualify for return. I provided the receipt. She said, "Costco's return policy is for one year. Returns over one year is excessive. I spoke to my supervisor Jessica, and for this one time only I will process this return. But no more after this time."
I don't mind a policy change, but I would like to clarify this ambiguity for myself as well as for my friends and family. Thank you.
There's a gas station, and it was the second cheapest in the area (one Shell station beat it by 2 cents... no big deal). Lots of samplers on a Friday with courteous staff. The stock was standard for all other Costcos I've visited in different cities and states (no return hassels in PA, NJ, CA, WA, KS)
