  • This is another of our favorite restaurants in Madison. Part of my heritage is Irish and it's hard to find a restaurant that serves it. Their other food is good too, but I usually have the Irish specialties like Guinness Stew or Irish Farmhouse Stew. My friend and I both ordered entrees that came with a side salad. Not only were the salads good-sized with a pleasant variety of greens but they had two kinds of vinaigrette, sesame and raspberry, that were delicious. Our waitress was a dear and quite happy to bring us samples and accommodate my friend's dietary needs. My husband got a sample of the soup of the day - 5 Star Mushroom -and had to have a cup with his Shepherd's Pie.
