I have a love hate relationship with this place. My belly likes it but my abs hide from it. If you love savory or salty food this is the place for you. I happen to love savory but some of the dishes here were a bit too salty for me, like the catfish. And the collard greens. The fried chicken is well seasoned and tasty but very tangy so if you are not into vinegar marinades this fried chicken is not for you. I like it. The fried okra is delicious and salty... Maybe a little too salty but I think we all new what we were getting into going in. I mostly do take out here because it's very close to home and the service isn't phenomenal. The servers always seem overworked or like they have another pressing matter to attend to that just doesn't happen to be the diners. What I love most about this place is for about 30-35 bucks I can get a quality bucket of 16 pieces of chicken and two sides and for a busy mom with a party of 5 and boys who play lots of week night sports, this saves me time and sanity which I'm sure some of you can appreciate.
