| - This was my first time at an iPic and my expectations were high. I had heard great things about iPic theaters at other locations. I booked my tickets online and paid the premium for VIP tickets that included popcorn, reclining seats, and a pillow/blanket. The ticket is significantly more than other theaters in the area, $17 before the $10 VIP charge. The lobby area was luxurious and clean and the bar looked like a great place for drinks and conversation. We got to our seats about 15 minutes before the movie started. This is when our experience suffered. The seats were disgustingly dirty and one was completely torn (see the attached pics). The seat fabric is a red microfiber which might be why they looked so dirty. There were multiple stains. We covered the torn seat cushion and decided to cover it with the provided blanket, which also didn't appear to be clean. We did finally settle into our seats and began looking over the menu. The menu was also dirty and sticky. The food and drink offerings looked decent, but nothing caught our eye. The waiter quickly approached us and introduced himself, he was friendly and attentive. My only complaint about the service was that there was no way to request service during the movie other than to catch the waiter's eye/attention...no button or light like many other theaters offer. The free popcorn arrived right before the movie started. It was typical movie popcorn, nothing special but not bad. We saw a 3D movie and both of our provided glasses were dirty and covered in fingerprints and what I would assume is popcorn oil. We had to clean them ourselves. As the movie started, I noticed that everything looked very blurry. For whatever reason my glasses did not work. Luckily the seat next to us was empty and we tried those glasses, which worked. The movie itself was great, however the theater experience was sub-par for ANY theater, let alone an iPic that brags about being such an amazing experience. We will not be returning to iPic again. There are other theaters in the area, like Roadhouse Cinema, that offer a better, cleaner experience with a better food menu than iPic; and for a lot less money.
