So I've driven professionally before and I need to make a little extra money right now in my life. The point is I know what goes on with this game and they are simply a mask for a cab company who wants to do vouchers from Medicare and Medicaid. Unfortunately , although they have many requirements to be a driver, as far as I can see it's a washout. Most of their fares are very small typically 5 to 6 bucks and they want you to drive up to 7 miles to get them. They also have many no-shows where you basically waste your time and get nothing. As far as I can see this is a minimum wage job maybe a little bit better. I really wouldn't do it I think I won't do it after today... these people are bogus.
And further checking reveals that they are indeed bogus. Veyo is owned by Total Transit better known as Discount Cab. So this is just another camouflage for the cab company to prefer its sleazy predatory business model onto unsuspecting fools. I would steer clear of these people they're trouble trouble trouble.
PS. So I corresponding with Suzanne in the veyo office via email during which, she made the ridiculous suggestion drivers should take every call offered to them. I pointed out having a driver drive 5-7 miles to make 5 bucks is insane and she refused to answer. She told me that to get calls I had to be the other hotspot so I moved to their hotspot at Ina and Oracle and sat there for an hour and got no calls. I asked her by email why this was the case and she responded by suspending my account and terminating the email exchange. This even more than the fact that I found online that they're owned by total Transit AKA Discount Cab makes me sure that it's being run just like a cab company which means stupidly dishonestly and with arrogant cowardice.
I can assure you if you work for these people and do what they tell you to do you won't make very much money and will have a bad time doing it. Just ask yourself, why are they camouflaging the fact that they're actually a cab company?
