| - Great, underrated regional Mexican food restaurant. Not the best in town, but one of the best in a very large radius.
Brought to us by the same man originally behind Atlas Bistro as well as Twisted, in Scottsdale, Mucho Gusto serves solid food in a low-key, but equally attractive and comfortable atmosphere. Some of the best guac in town (yes Barrio and Los Sombreros, watch your backs), a great variety of eats, ranging from more creative menu items to the homey staples many still look for (and depend on) in a good Mexican food restaurant. Not to mention, generous portions.
My only consistent complaint is the service. Though friendly, often extremely slow, almost detached. Simply put, don't go with the mindset that you'll be in and out in a jiff, and you'll be fine.
