Just went to buy a new iPad last night, and not super impressed with the service. Being a Tuesday evening, it wasn't that busy. Not being insane, I would never even attempt to set foot in that place on the weekend. As a proud owner of an iPod, MacBook and iPhone, I've been to the store many times, but the employees don't know that. I think the Apple Store can be a little intimidating for someone who doesn't know how it works. I had to approach the salesperson after being there for five minutes to be helped, and they were just standing around talking. The products are amazing, which is why I go back, but the service isn't the best.
