| - Vig Uptown is pretty nifty, and brunch vs. late night.. really is day and night.
Brunch is super relaxed, get coffee or a vigazz bloody mary, it's not too loud, people are playing outside, get some Guinness braised corned beef hash.. with potato pancakes, poached egg, and chipotle hollandaise (hell yes), or the hangover helper, chilaquiles rojas for the win. Bottomless mimoas for $15, I miss living walking distance from here, lol.
Late nights, it's packed, and loud, and there is a dj spinning. I remember tacos, lot of different kinds of tacos, and they were all tasty. Grilled fish tacos, deconstructed fish tacos with swordfish, short rib tacos with kimchi!, fresh guacamole and chips, 16th st nachos, and Thai sweet chili wings. It's local southwestern food, upscale, many many steps up from bar food, and it's a lot of mimosas.
