We noticed on an early Saturday morning that we had a leak coming from our crawlspace. We called 217's emergency line and were told by the answering service that someone would be in touch soon, and they were, within 15 mins or so. We explained the problem, he told us the emergency rate, he let us know where we were in the order and about how long to expect. Once he was on his way we got a text with his name and picture (Alan, he was great).
He knew pretty quickly what the issue was, and explained how he could fix it, and gave us a quote. He had to run back to get some equipment, but kept us informed the whole time. When he came back he went right to work, but also continued to communicate what he was seeing. The whole thing was done in just a couple hours.
We really appreciated the level of communication, and the follow up.
