  • In an effort to begin a backyard garden in Las Vegas, I sought out Parsons Rocks. A raised bed is arguably essential to having any kind of success here, and wood doesn't last in the long term. Parsons Rocks was the only place in town that had visually attractive stone that could be used to build a retaining wall of sorts. Everywhere else only stocked the red/brown colors of the desert, while I wanted something different. Parsons has awesome customer service, kind folks, and super prompt delivery. Absolutely recommended above the normal "garden" locations for pavers, rocks, and brick.
