I am filing a complaint through Progressive Insurance to have them taken off their approved vendors list. I was approached by a salesman, Don , who after my months long communication with him is not to be trusted. He is paid more on whole windshield replacements than repairs and if you ever think you are dropping your car off for a repair and agreeing to this repair, there is a high likelihood you will get a call that you had a "failed repair" and now a full replacement is necessary. Don may try to convince you a cash rebate of $100 will be offered to you. In my case, I came into the car wash for a detail and the exact price was $99. Basically paying for your detail. However it comes only on a full windshield replacement which you may or may not need. Whether you get that rebate or not is another shady practice all together. I would accept the rebate as advertised on their windows outside their building if it was in the form of a check for my records. I called and dropped by the office and Don said a certified check was mailed to me. That was 2 weeks ago and nothing has ever been mailed. No one should accept cash let alone offer cash as nothing can be documented for litigation. I am still awaiting a rebate check and Don has ignored my recent attempts to make contact. This business cares about getting paid by insurance companies but they do not care about customer service and now apparently their reputation within the community.
