  • The Mrs. and I came down to try out this place. Heard a lot about it, and the southern culture is always appealing to me. I had this weird notion that I would be looked at twice for being Caucasian or something...couldn't be further from the truth. Whoever said this place has bad service was WAY wrong in my eyes. A friendly hostess, waitress and busser made our experience really pleasurable. We got Windy as our waitress. Ask for her! I had the breast and thigh and they were GREAT! Juicy and just fell off the bone. The waffle was equally as delicious. I usually don't scarf meals down, but I crushed this one. The atmosphere is very open. Has that cafeteria feel, so of that isn't your thing, ask for a booth or the bar. All in all, I enjoyed it! It is obvious that the place just opened, but there is a ton of potential here.
