Our dinner club went to this restaurant last week and I will start out with the positive. The inside was very charming and lovely. Our waiter could not have been nicer. Unfortunately he was overwhelmed. There were two large parties in the restaurant on a Saturday night and two tables of two people. Obviously the parties were reserved so they should have been aware of what kind of wait staff they needed also kitchen staff. We were in the restaurant for three hours and the food was horrible. I was drinking water and it has such a foul taste I put lemons in it and I now realize it was in a copper pitcher so maybe that was it. Before I realize this I switch to ice tea which was served in tiny little glasses. One of the women asked for a picture to be put on the table since two sips and the Glass was empty. The waiter replied that he was not allowed to leave the pitchers on the table because they were valuable. One gal ordered a Diet Coke and nearly spit it out.... when the waiter was told he said oh yeah our carbon dioxide doesn't work well in the soda drinks. The lemon soup was delicious but it was about a third of a cup to a half a cup serving in a tiny little bowl. The vegetable soup had no taste and again a very small portion. The main course was about $14 and came in a small bowl. It had a nasty flavor unlike similar I have tasted. I have been there twice now the first and last time!
