We had friends and family in town this week and following First Friday Art Crawl, they wanted to come to Lola's for dinner. We were very thrilled with the customer care when we got a call from Erin to let us know prior to our 7 pm reservation that a number of customers had late arrivals due to traffic resulting from a local accident. It worked for us to have extra time to enjoy the galleries and then reach the restaurant at 7:30. We were very happy to get a table for six on their patio, as weather was perfect. You know how I feel about the generally tight space in the middle of the restaurant, so the open space and superior care we got from Lisa made this a fantastic night!
We all shared jambalaya, gumbo, catfish, crab cakes, really good pinot noir and our favorite Tenaya Creek pilsener, shrimp, and they delivered hot and good! Desserts were pecan sweet potato pie and the chocolate cake with ice cream.
We won't wait another two years before making our way back.
