| - I had made an appointment with Toronto Bodyworks as I was travelling and desperately needed a massage. I had an appointment for 7:15PM where the woman on the phone told me to come in at 7PM to fill out paper work beforehand. I requested a deep tissue, strong massage over the phone and the woman started getting defensive saying, "it's not about the strength, it is about the technique when getting a massage, and at Toronto bodyworks, we are all professionally trained" OK... but I have had over 1000 massages in my lifetime so far and KNOW when a massage is strong or weak... it's simple. Anyway, I confirmed the appointment the same morning and the time comes and I make my way across town to get to the appointment. I show up, and the woman at the reception is soo blatantly rude, and says to me, "there is no appointment here for you" I was shocked. So I asked her why? And she said she doesn't know but theres nothing with my name. So, I asked her is there some reason why? I had confirmed the appointment that morning... long story short, the woman starts getting very verbally aggressive and says, "get out" telling me to leave the premises!! Are you kidding me?? ALL I KNOW IS THAT I HAD AN APPOINTMENT?? So I didn't bother arguing with her and her attitude problem, so i stormed out. THIS PLACE WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. For a massage place, they really know how to STRESS PEOPLE OUT AND CAUSE FURTHER HEALTH ISSUES BY BEING SO RUDE AND UNRELIABLE. NEVER EVER WILL I RETURN HERE AND HAVE TOLD EVERYONE I KNOW TO NEVER GO THERE EITHER. Somehow this came to the attention of the manager Christian after I had LEFT Toronto, who was kind enough to offer a $25 voucher to compensate for my experience, but I will NEVER be going back there because of my traumatic experience, no matter what they try and offer!
Which by the way, my Lyft ride to get there costed me $20 to get there across town.
