| - This place is nice, trendy, well appointed, but small. I believe they only have 6 pedicure chairs, if that. I found out about them through a livingsocial deal and had to book nearly about 2 months out. The girls who did our nails were very personable. I got shellac on fingers and toes and loved it, my mother got a regular manicure and it chipped that very night. They don't have dryers here and send you on your way as soon you're done so her nails smudged immediately. The same thing happened to a friend who got a mani/pedi here the day after me. My advice? Get Shellac if you're going here.
The ambiance is nice, the free wifi is very convenient, but the a/c was either broken or non-existent when we went and it was really stuffy in there. In terms of the actual service, it was thorough and they took their time with us, which was nice.
I found the receptionist to be quite rude both in person and on the phone (not sure if it was the same one) and when I called to cancel an appt and re-book, she never actually canceled the first one. First and final impressions make a big deal - it's never a good idea to be surly or condescending with your customers. Two friends who also bought the deal had similar feedback about her.
Overall, this place is nice and the service is good, but for the price, I can't give it more than three stars.
