| - Lee and I wanted to go to a park where we hadn't been before, one where we could do some hiking and geocaching.
This is a great park! It is on the border of Brampton and Toronto, and has an interesting feel to it. I think that it's often used as a day camp, but at the time we were there, there were barely any people. It is also evidently used as a location shoot for some TV shows that film in the Toronto area as well, which is kinda cool.
It was, as I said, pretty deserted, with a bit of a weird, post-apocalyptic vibe, but there are some picnic areas and other places that are very nice. There's a nice wide gravel/dirt road that wanders through the park, and a lot of little side trails that go all over the place. This would be a great place for bird and wildlife watching as well.
It does have a nearby stable that does horseback rides in the park.
