Because there aren't too many David's to choose from this side of the border in Canada, you'd think they would put more effort into making the bridal gown shopping experience the kind a girl could never forget - they most certainly did that but not in a positive way at all :| The store was very busy and they allowed it to take away from the experience. The first thing I was told was I would receive 90 minutes with the consultant "gee thanks" and I wasn't the only customer she would be helping so those minutes are shared with others - wth?! A lot of their sample gowns are behind the normal wear and tear - broken zippers, broken hooks, stained beyond imagination. I want to say the consultant tried but her efforts were subpar at max, perhaps she was new or inexperienced. Not enough seats for your family or friends, not a personalized experience at all, not enough time with the consultant, being made feel as we needed to rush out- all in all made for a disaster of a day in terms of gown shopping. Thankfully not my first bridal gown shop (I went to Sophie's last month) so I know how the experience should feel and it was nowhere near this one. Thanks David's Scarborough for a huge disappointment :|
