| - So we took a Groupon for 2 for lunch. And we had a memorable delicious extravagant and fancy lunch! We had a five-course meal. We paid around 145$ including service and taxes and boy, every bit of it was worth it.
Elliot - Our server was a delightful, kind and impressive person.
The kind of service and attention to details were spectacular! The food prep and serving was beautiful.
Reservations:
I took the vegetarian/vegan meal and my hubby chose white meat diet. They take these details while you call for booking and then they call you back to reconfirm your reservations.
Food:
They shared the pre-fix menu choices for lunch and for me they mentioned all that they have. and then they started to serve. wow! Not only the presentation of the food was unique but the food as well. We started goat cheese and pesto lollipops & popcorns and a choice of wine, the bottled to be shared between two of us and left over was given to take home. We chose white wine and we got again a delicious French wine (Chartier), which is like 20$ in LCBO and then we were served taro/oregano- truffled cappuccino & shrimp cappuccino(Hubby). The side of bread (we had choices) with 3 kinds of butter, I loved the flower butter. The bread was freshly baked and aromatic.
Now for the mains, I had Quash/cashew Patty along with a fried roll. So yum! so so so yum! It was smoked and garnished with red quinoa. My hubby chose Foi Gras, he got it along with mushroom shaped breads served in a book box, a fried roll and a smoothie(I wish I was served too). the smoothie was beet/green apple and was delicious.
For second mains, I had roots with hummus- delicious, roots were steamed to perfection, to compliment they had served the side of sweet quinoa and salty sauteed mushrooms.Oh so yum! My hubby had some Bass, which was first smoked in the grass and was shown to him for his approval to serve.
Now the dessert:
Some berry mouse with sorbet- oh so delicious so perfectly sweetened, along with blueberry cotton candy tree and Meringue to share. Then we got a choice of coffee and tea. they served Nespresso coffee along with Tea cakes (In a to-go box, so that you can take the leftovers).
Well, It's not over yet.
We also received an autograph from the chef, a jar of eggplant caviar, a big Meringue to take home along with tea cakes and wine.
It was a memorable and delicious experience! Loved it! Would definitely go back!
