| - Molecular gastronomy + sashimi. This was a fun and pleasant surprise. We got the golden ocean trout, it's freeze dried miso, chives, lemon ponzu, and pop rocks! They wanted us to try the yellow tail sashimi. It had tempura jalapeno slices on top, micro greens, and some awesome sauce. Then we go the SOHO tatas, white fish, salmon, and shrimp. Garlic edamame, calamari with three sauces, short rib in a wasabi cream sauce and salad in this spicy dressing. This was like home cooked comfort food. Everything is presented beautifully, every bite melts in your mouth. We ordered the green tea creme brulee but they brought out the matcha tiramisu, and when they realized it they brought out the creme brulee. lol We liked the creme brulee more because we don't care for the soggy texture but the flavor was good.
I came back another time with a friend after spending all day outside for a festival. It was hot and we wanted cold food, so we came for iced green tea, sashimi, and a spicy tuna roll. It was a nice refreshing post event meal before napping and getting ready for the night. I'm so glad this place is here.
