  • BAIT & SWITCH is their M.O.!!! I wish I had read these first before wasting my time. DO NOT BOTHER GOING HERE to buy a car for a reasonable price. It's a long story, but it matches most of the one-star reviews ahead of me. Here's my best attempt at the short version: - they advertised a car online for a reasonable price with reasonable mileage (the Bait Car) and I contacted the internet manager to confirm it. She did. - I went to the dealership and asked for her. She promptly handed me off to a sales guy. -Sales guy (Nathan) tells me the low-mileage, reasonably priced car was "just sold" and tries to get me to buy a new Kia instead. When I point out I was only interested in the Bait Car, he stops, and I leave. - the next day, by some miracle, the Bait Car is available again. I drive the 25 miles or so across town to see it. - We test drive the Bait Car - it has about 1500 miles more than advertised, and stinks of smoke and skunk (I can guess what caused that smell). They say they'll detail it out so we keep talking. Also, our sales guy explains that the 1500 more miles was caused by whoever magically returned the car (really?!?! 1500 miles in less than 24 hours? That would require driving over 65 mph nonstop for the entire period after buying the car to returning it). - We sit down to talk price anyway, because the car does fit our needs, if they take care of the problems. - Here comes the good part: they offer to sell us the car for nearly $10K more than advertised!!! And, they refuse to budge. They wanted to manipulate the payments (84 months - really?!?), but not honor the advertised price. - And, they insisted on pulling credit FIRST (that was my bad in agreeing). - after being there over 2 hours with no movement, we decide to walk out. - Here comes the sales manager. High pressure, insulting, offensive. Basically called us stupid for not accepting his RIDICULOUS, overblown, over priced offer for his nasty, stinking, higher mileage car. - we ended up walking out on him and the sales guy. We never returned. Ended up finding a NEW car, same trim level for about $7K LESS THAN he wanted to sell us his P.O.S. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP unless you enjoy being lied to, insulted, and taken for a fool. ***UPDATE*** I received a call from the sales manager yesterday asking if we were still in the market for his P.O.S. Of course I told him no and moved on. In the meantime, I forgot to turn off my auto-search on Cars.com and - surprise, surprise - today they updated the posting for the SAME CAR to a reduced advertised price $700 LESS than when I went in. Not that I expect them to ever sell it for that price, though..... Their car isn't the only thing that stinks over there.
