  • My recent service dept.experience was bad; by far the WORST customer service EVER, quality of service is really bad & questionable in the service dept.... This dealership did not and just COULD NOT deliver in the end. On top of things a couple of the service dept. employees are NOT engaged who do not care about your concerns, while these two men acted totally condesending ( a guy who goes by the name of "Josh") and one gave me a memorized script about being apologetic & what not when really they could care less. No Mr. Service manager stand in replacement guy- you could not convince me- you weren't that good....(And however did you become assistant service manager? Aren't you suppose to be caring & go out of your way for service excellence to have that position)?!! (A guy who goes by the name "Child" or something) Your attitude shows you could give a rats ass how upset I was. You made me feel like I was just another upset customer who was no big deal to you- you must b used to dealing w/people like me as you just stood there while I read through your body language while you stared blankly at me blocking any of my requests to speak to a Manager above you. And you didn't even provide me the with the COURTESY to speak to GM clearly witnessing that I was in fucking tears you jerk! Regardless based apon both these guys attitude and lack of concern for the serious issues at hand, they are really who is at the root of this negative review & contributing factors to Honda Wests reputation for my bad experience. I've bought 2 expensive (1 being top of the line) Honda vehicles and given my hard earned money to America Honda & this is what type of treatment and service I get?! The current Service manager, (Brian Haffey) does not personally return calls immediately however I saw that the dealerships GSM was on deck and nobody had the decency to send him my way for any type of service recovery that Honda West had a slight chance of starting over w/me. *(To date, I still have yet to receive a response/reply from my two recent emails sent directly to service manager, Mr.Haffey). But I'm anticipating you guys will most likely respond to this negative review. This dealership was quick to take my money for services NOT rendered- and a delay to contact customer going to any lengths which includes emailed responses, text messaging and or leadership call backs. I came in for a couple service concerns main one; synthetic oil change, $300+ $$/ 3 hours later I caught/noticed my dashboard driving off the lot that oil change had not been done/completed! WTF I still question air filter change, (usually I am shown the old filter & how dirty it was for peace of mind), well at least that's the excellent service I'm used to receiving from other Honda dealerships. ( I came to dealership due to working in the area & having a nail in my tire/couldn't risk my drive home). The guy who goes by the name of "Josh" Couldnt even take the time to properly fill out my car fact sheet that tells you the status of your vehicle, (what your tire pressure is, battery life, etc), instead "Josh" handed it to me entirely blank and I had to ask him where my car stood- (I keep tabs on my vehicle taking very good care of it, so I'm the rare customer you slacked off too who actually insists on those for record keeping). Now I'm inconvenienced, my time is delayed, service is in question & I'm clearly upset, when on top of everything the service manager is not available. Please do yourselves a favor and save your precious time, keep your hard earned money in your pockets, & PLEASE take your Honda for service to Findlay Honda in Henderson- It is my opinion this is well worth the drive; The guys at Findlay Honda in Henderson treated me like royalty! Offering me snacks & drinks on the house, keeps me in the loop AND expressed GENUINE concern with over the top much friendlier service. And btw, by keeping me in the loop of things & checking in on me after Aprox.30 minutes passed by won me over- imagine that! A Honda dealership who actually gets it and makes it right for both you and the dealership. Honda West you probably know what I'm going to write now... Yes- take lessons from the guys over at Findlay Honda in Henderson. Please. I beg you. Yea- I had to go there. And I'm not sorry. My experience with you all was so awful I'm prompted to give you a slap on your hand. **Follow-up*** after posting this review I went on to read the reviews about Honda West & most negative reviews always seem to show a response from GSM. I recognized the GSM in picture & recall that he walked past me a couple times mainly during my rant to "Mr.Child's" & the fact that you didn't get notified or intervened NOR was I given the option to speak to you regarding my issues w/" Mr.Child's" well this says a lot about you guys over there; Cannot trust this dealership and the people running it. Shady place. These guys cover for each other & you will be ping-ponged around.
