| - My family and I were really excited to go here for a quick getaway. When I checked in the lady was nice BUT never told me how much she was charging me each time she had me put my debit card in. I asked her 3 times and she said "oh, I don't know your total". I didn't understand how she could not know how much she was charging me. Then she finally told me an "estimate" which was completely different then what the call center who makes reservations told me. I explained to her and even told her to pull my call since it was recorded. She said they can't. But would honor the price the call center told me. I was happy for a moment until I checked my bank account since I kinda didn't trust someone who wouldn't tell me how much they were charging me and saw that she just decided to charge me an additional $150.00 on top of my room price.
I asked her what is this? She said oh it's only a pending authorization. I said you weren't going to tell me that you were just going to charge my card just an additional amount? She then tried to change the subject and handed me my room keys to get me out of there. I am so livid at this point, I get there is a deposit but don't just charge someone's card without telling them then ignoring the question.
Plus side, the bed was so comfy, room was clean but you can hear EVERY single noise coming from the hallway. We had a 3-year-old baby and were scared he was going to wake up.
Room service, we ordered room service and I asked them to call me since the baby was sleeping when they were at the door. They called me to say the lady was outside my door. I looked and no one was there. I told the lady on the phone who was nice, but unfortunately, I heard the lady on the walkie bitching about how she's been standing outside my room and she's done with trying to drop off my order. The lady on the phone verified with her the room number, 15 minutes later of the room service lady trying to drop it off we realized she was at the wrong floor.
Which is fine, I waited for the room service lady in my hall and I hear her complaining the whole time and she came to the door talking very loudly about how upset she was that they gave her the wrong floor number, I asked her to keep it down we have a baby sleeping and she just continued to talk louder. I realized the $12 piece of cake we ordered turned into $23 with all of their "fees".
This place, you really need to watch what they are charging you. They tried to get me 3 times with charging me a different amount then what they quoted me. I won't be back since it was hard to get a good nights sleep when you can hear every single noise.
