I had been dying to try the cronut at Le Dolci, but they stopped making it except by special order, so I almost died of excitement when I saw that this place carried the elusive pastry. However, it was disappointing. It was kind of dry, like it had been made at least a day before, and it lacked the flakiness of a good croissant. I'm either going to have to make a pilgrimage to the original cronut bakery in New York or invest in a deep fryer and attempt my own.
