I called the office to see about getting their television service (I already have the Internet and home phone) switching from DISH (which has always been great) to save some money. Got one of their sales people spent about 30 minutes reviewing what I have with DISH matching programming to programming, how many TV's and DVR's. He guaranteed me the service was a match (actually a few additional channels with Cox, nothing of a real value). They should up on time very pleasant but I was told that what I ordered was far less than what I currently had. I forgot to mention I called DISH and they offered to lower my bill by $55 per month I declined because the savings with Cox was about $120. Well after all was said and done my actual savings is $30 and if I would have kept DISH my savings would be $25 below what I am now paying with Cox. I have tried to call the Cox retention department to see what they can do to make this right. I called too early on Saturday and they are closed on Sunday. So stay tuned, if Cox makes this right I will report if not I will write many more reviews on many other social media sites. I'm pulling for them however I'm not afraid to go back to DISH.
