  • Dr. Beljan's office was recommended to us by our son's therapist, and we independently heard from a teacher and a few other people about their great experiences with his office and their programs. After being dismissed after ineffective and inaccurate IQ testing in the public school system, we conclusively found that both our boys should be in a gifted program. Now, they are both thriving - our older son enjoys his cluster program and our younger son is excited for school in a self-contained program. We also came back for additional testing, and found that they are 2e. Now, instead of banging our heads against the wall trying to articulate our challenges to therapists and teachers, we have thorough, concrete test results to back up our hunch that their intelligence was offsetting some underlying challenges. We have a plan to pursue programs at Beljan that will develop compensatory skills and get them the support they need. Dr. Beljan was conscientious with our time and budget, and he spent time before testing to talk to us and really get to know our kids without making assumptions, and then thoroughly reviewed test results and his evaluations with us so that we could understand his findings and explore the best solutions for our kids. I highly recommend Beljan when you need answers, well worth the investment.
