  • Did the uptown Charlotte tour on Sat. Night takes about 11/2. -2 hrs and for the low low price of $13. Please be sure to tip your guide-the nearest other tour is $30 quite the difference. Learned a lot of history of Charlotte but the addition of 2 small children on our tour inhibited the guide and I think made it less scary. She seemed to skim over the hauntings to make them less frightening. Most of which were of the paranormal orb or sound variety. The cars going by continually were very loud and distracting. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and seemed to really love her job. She wore a vintage style costume and carried a lantern. I would recommend the tour and it is especially great when you combine it with a night out in the city restaurants and bars.
