I tried my hardest not to write a review, but now just 8 months after buying a BMW, every single drive is a joyless reminder of my experience here.
I was charged $2,000 for a problem that needn't have been half that. Here's an actual conversation I had with the front desk:
"The engine cover is cracked."
"How sure are you that that's the issue?"
"Well... I know it's cracked..."
He might as well have told me the paint was chipped. Whether or not something is visible does not determine if it's the source of an issue.
The car was "fixed" over 7 days later. I was finally offered a rental on day 6, but when I accepted, the offer was retracted. My choices for a full business week were biking, renting a car, and taking Ubers- another sunk cost.
God bless the owner who is doing his best to run a decent business. He tries very hard to make all his customers happy. But the front desk is the face and voice of the business, and the other reviews here echo the sentiment that we-fix-it's face and voice is as viscerally upsetting as the persistent squeal of my now unenjoyable car.
