  • This was by far the best salon experience I have ever had, and I am so happy to be able to review this place. To start, Alchemy is completely customer-oriented. From the layout of the salon (a color bar so that you can see exactly how they mix your color!) to the perks (a lipstick stand so that you can have fresh lips applied after your cut), to the opening hours (open late a few nights of the week for us office-folk!), everything is centered around what the customer wants to see, know, and experience. Plus, the people could not be more friendly or accommodating, something which I believe is underrated many times. There is no snob-factor here at all. Not only is the environment great, and the customer orientation on point, but the services provided are top-notch. I met with Andrea for my cut, and she served as both an advisor and a great listener. She heard what I wanted done on my hair, gave feedback (when I asked) on what her recommendations within those guidelines were, and made suggestions of additional service and products I could get which would complement my objectives, all the while being friendly and not pushy whatsoever. I walked out loving my cut and 110% satisfied with the entire experience. This is the only place in Charlotte I will go to get my hair done. Thank you, Alchemy, for giving Charlotte such an amazing salon!!!
