  • Really unfortunate that I'm not able to even rate the doctor that I was going to see. So my one star is for the front desk employee Maureen and also for the billing department Laura and others. I spoke with billing a month before my appointment about paying my patient responsibility through my MRA acct. when doctors bill my insurance company the insurance automatically pays the whole bill (whatever they don't cover) with my MRA funds. The billing department understood and told me to schedule my appt. So I took time off of work to go in and get a scratch allergen test. As soon as I walked in the door Maureen looked like she woke up on the wrong side of the bed was not the attitude that I would want representing my company if I was Dr. Rose. No customer service or communication at all. She asked for my payment before I went back to see the Dr I explained my insurance covers everything and my previous conversation with the billing department prior to my appt. She proceeded to tell me I never talked to anyone in billing and she could only see they left me voice mails. That was the first issue. Lack of documentation by billing and lack of communication from billing to front office. (Which is one of the main reasons why people HATE dealing with the doctors office). So maureen called billing (Laura) who confirmed there was no documentation of my previous conversation. Laura contacted my insurance and told me they couldn't confirm I had money in my HRA to see the doctor , I told her that's because the money was in an MRA not HRA. Laura proceeded to tell me they can't bill the insurance to auto deduct from MRA even if they could confirm the funds were there. I asked why someone else told me differently when I spoke with billing prior to my appt. Her answer was there were 4 women in billing and none of them remembered talking to me and she'd ask them and address it at a later time. (Insinuating that I was making the whole convo up). Told me I can pay cash and figure it out with my insurance. They refused my service. I left unhappily and called my insurance who went out of their way to call Laura back , they told Laura how much money I had avail (more than enough for the test) and that they will make sure the entire bill is paid. LAURIE another lady from billing called ME back and apologized for all of the miscommunication asked that I come back and reschedule for another day and confirmed what I already knew EVERY THING WAS COVERED. I will not be doing business with this office. Messy, lack of communication, no customer service. If you want billing errors then this is the place to go. LAURA couldn't even be women enough to call me back and apologize to say she was wrong she had someone else do it for her. Turned away my service and had someone else call me to ask for it back. NO THANK YOU. I will be contacting Dr. Rose about the embarrassment. Not to mention I took time off of work for this. LAURIE was the only kind person I spoke with and that's because she was cleaning up someone else's mess.
