  • I came here for lunch with colleagues during the recent Teacher Workdays. I wasn't overly impressed. I ordered the chicken salad on a roll with a side of baked beans, and it was just nothing special. I usually like to go to lunch and be waited on, but we were in a hurry and a colleague suggested The Roasting Company. I have never been here, so I thought, what the heck,I'll try it. I figured it was pretty popular when we walked up to the restaurant and the line was almost out the door. The chicken salad was bland and the only thing I was really able to taste were the walnuts added to it. The baked beans were too spicy and there was a jalapeño pepper sliced and mixed in with the beans. Overall, not impressed and wouldn't return.
