Came here on the 13th of June for a tour with my three other friends and it was most of our first time at a brewery! It's right beside the Rogers Center.
I'm not fond of beer... Nor do I drink beer. But Steam Whistle has changed my thoughts otherwise! As soon as you enter the first thing you will see is the sampling bar and you get a good amount of beer. Had one too many ;)
The tour was pretty cool. It was about 30-40min. The staff is amazing, we also got the pleasure of getting a hi and wave from one of the owners whom I believe to be Cameron. The most amazing part was getting a bottle of beer that was made the same morning! That never happens!
The whole layout of the facility is very interesting. From the round house to the production line. It all works out. The beer hall is used for events like for art gallery shows, local concerts, even wedding receptions, and so much more!
If you're a local artist and want to showcase your art pieces do it at Steam Whistle at the cost of $0. The only trade off is that you have to donate one piece of artwork to the facility, which will be proudly hung in their offices.
I would definitely come here again when I get the chance! If you rarely drink, like myself, I must warn you that you can get buzzed really quick even after a couple of samples. Other than that, this was a fun and new experience!
