| - My boyfriend and I arrived on a Sunday morning, and not surprised that it was busy. Got two seats at the bar. Ordered a raspberry mimosa and a regular bloody mary. Both were very pleasant. John took our order and was very nice.
I asked for the florentine benedict and my friend ordered the corned beef hash.
When they arrived, my eggs were overcooked and had been sitting so the entire plate was lukewarm. I stated my complaint to John, who immediately took care of the problem, however it took 10 minutes to replace the dish, leaving my friend to eat his alone. I had also ordered a spicy bloody mary, and had not been told that it was tomatillo based as compared to a typical red tomato based drink. I did not see anything on the menu stating the difference, and found it unpleasant to drink, as it seemed thick, and the whole thing tasted more like drinking salsa instead of a bloody mary. I did not get through half of it.
Overall: it was ok. If I had a choice of going back there, as compared to some of the other places I have eaten, I would go to the others. Customer service was excellent and saved what was not really a good experience into a decent but not anything special one.
