Cleveland Zoo is first class, all the way. It's always a treat to go here, and I've enjoyed going my entire life.
On a recent trip the day after thanksgiving 2012, I noted a few things:
1) It's cheap. $24.75 for three people, plus active military get free admission.
2) It's cheap. Free parking, and also the rainforest is included with admission.
3) It's a work in progress (for good!) With a new elephant/african plain exhibit, plus new signage in the rainforest. Also the city of Cleveland just completed the massive restoration of the bridge above the northern trek area.
4) It's educational (but please parents, don't say "look at the monkey" to your kids looking at a gorilla).
Zoo membership is a great way to support both the local zoo, plus it usually garners free admission to other zoos as well. clemetzoo is an awesome gem for Clevelanders to enjoy, make sure to get out and enjoy it!
