  • I've been living at Trevi for over two years now. When I was first looking for places, I absolutely fell in love with the property. A great staff, landscaping, and neighbors made the community a great place to live. The last year, however, it truly seems like the property is on a steady decline. Many of my neighbors have left for a number of reasons - most siting the decline of our once quiet home. If you like dog poop and urine smells, this place is for you. The seemingly open door policy on breeds and number of dogs per apartment allow for an abundance of lazy pet owners to leave their dogs' dropping EVERYWHERE! In the time I've lived here, the breezeways have been power-washed ONCE - leaving dust, spiderwebs, and trash everywhere. If you like loud, disrespectful, and arrogant jerks to yell and party at the pool at midnight, again, check this place out!! ** note: I'm writing this at 12:30 on a Saturday night, because, you guessed it... loud, obnoxious jerks are at the pool..... AGAIN. The landscape used to be beautiful.... that was before the landscapers took all of the gorgeous and flourishing shrubs and hacked them to 6 inch twigs. Yeah. Awesome. For the final pièce de résistance, if you like random girls' underwear strewn about your car or antenna.... look no further. Trevi has that for you, too! I'd post pics, but do I really need to? I'd speak to the office staff (candidly, Alex is the only one I'd ever talk to), but I'd hate to speak down to them while I complain about panties on my car's antenna (by the way, we weren't the only ones). This place is lipstick on a pig -- no thank you. For what you pay here, keep looking... but a house, rent elsewhere, just keep moving. I can't wait for my lease to be up. ------ update ------- It looks like you can only rate the complex once - I get it - you don't want people hijacking a site and tanking a review... so I'll just continue to expand on my original review in the comments: It's 10:26pm on a Sunday night and lo and behold: three women in the jacuzzi with two bottles of champagne having a great time. Someone had to go out and ask them to please quiet down. They seemed nice enough about it, but it's not the point. We've become a community of residents policing residents because the complex staff won't do it. Recently, we were given the new "amenity" of valet trash pick up. Pick up is hit and miss at best and their company is always so loud when they're doing their pick up at 10:00pm. In a dog-loving community, you can imagine how they all react. Now, mind you, this "amenity" now costs each resident $25 a month. It's a throw away fee for a terrible service. WHY wouldn't the complex consider a courtesy patrol instead? A company that would lock up the pool gates at night, make sure no one was having sex or falling asleep in the deck chairs (at least twice a summer), make sure the property was looked after... etc, etc. I think that the management company believes that because we all live in a gated community, we don't need it or it ruins an image... Well, we need it. It's not the residents' responsibility to police each other after dog poop, dogs in the pools swimming with owners, partying or drinking in the pool after hours, etc. Our office manager encouraged residents to share complaints, so here they are.
