This is the No Frills by my folks' place; the one I am sent to when my mother needs me to "pick up some yogurt" which is seemingly always. How are we always out of yogurt when I am around? I'm certainly not the one consuming astronomical quantities of the stuff. Is it not possible to buy larger tubs? Actually, I know for a fact that my mom knows how to MAKE yogurt. Why don't we just do that? It's gotta be easier than driving over to this place again, and again, and again.
Anyway. This No Frills grocery is decent. It's fairly large and I've never been stabbed by a customer or sassed by a disgruntled clerk. It's also in the same plaza as a Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart, Rogers, Payless, and other decidedly non-local businesses. This is the suburbs. C'est la vie.
Pluses include the fact that it's enormous and has a good variety of ethnic foods. Sadly, this isn't one of those No Frills that has a $1 bonanza aisle. Those are kind of fun.
No matter what I'll be back here to purchase yogurt for mom. I just know it.
Obligatory Title Pun: There's NO FRILLS like home.
Menu Readability: Don Watt, you rule.
Need to mention: They have a big bin of spicy Indian snacks.
What this place teaches me about myself: I should get into the yogurt making game. Sounds like a good game.
